Patty Pan With Toasted Sesame

This is a really quick, simple dish for patty pan squashes, but it's seriously tasty!
And it'll get you from cupboard to table in just 10 minutes. |

Ingredients
|
4-6 patty pan squashes (about 6-8 cm across)
1 generous handful of sesame seeds
a knob of butter
1 level tablespoon fresh thyme leaves (fresh, not dried) |

Method
|
- Wash and dry the patty pans. Trim the ends. Cut into cubes, about 1cm chunks.
- In a dry frying pan, heat the sesame seeds until they start to �bounce� � be careful not to burn them. Set on one side.
- Put the butter in the frying pan and melt. Add the patty pan cubes. Cover and saut� for up to 5 minutes, until softening and turning golden brown.
- Serve sprinkled with the sesame seeds and the thyme leaves.
