Asparagus, Tofu and Sesame Seeds, with Paprika

Light, delicious and healthy!

This easy to make dish of grilled asparagus, tofu and sesame seeds is perfect as a starter, side dish or a healthy snack pot to take to work.



  • Tofu
  • Asparagus
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Paprika


Trim the ends of the asparagus stalks and place on a grill tray.

Cut the Tofu into chunks and give a light dusting of paprika. Place on the grill tray with the asparagus.

Grill the asparagus and tofu on a medium heat, turning regularly until the tofu has browned and the asparagus can be easily pierced with a knife.

Transfer the asparagus and tofu to serving dishes and sprinkle sesame seeds over each dish.

Notes & Variations on Asparagus, Tofu and Sesame Seeds, with Paprika

Add peppers, tomatoes and broad beans to turn this into a main dish.

Tofu holds a lot of liquid and it is always a good idea to thoroughly drain the tofu before using it. We find that sandwiching the Tofu between 2 plates and leaving it to stand for a few minutes can be a good way to squeeze excess liquid out. We recommend referring to the packet for any additional instructions.
