Savoy Cabbage
Savoy Cabbage is delicious and packed with flavour. It's season is shorter than traditional white or red cabbage, so make the most of it while it's in. We're currently working on Savoy Cabbage recipes. If you've got one to share, please do send it to us. Thank you!
- In Season?
- Savoy Cabbage should be in season in the UK from the end of June through to the end of February.
- Cook?
- Don't think you need to rip off and throw away the slightly gnarly looking outside leaves of the Savoy - as long as you're eating organic these are just as nutritious if not more so.
Eat Savoys lightly stir-fried or steamed for the best flavour.
